Since there are so many wonderfully creative folks here, I was curious to see the different set-ups used to cut headstock patterns and tuner holes...thanks! Cheers, Greg |

I tape a template to the headstock and rout the shape on my router table; works great. Then I drill using the jig from Sylvan's site. It is super. Well's headstock drilling jig Ron |

Thanks guys, Yeah, I saw that Terry, reminded me of a few router stories of mine!!! Because I've done it very much like you guys, and I have encountered tearout to some degree on a few corners, was wondering if you have as well, if not what kind of bit are you using? I saw a flush-trim bit mentioned, I've used that, oh well, not a big deal, I am just crazy about the details, and little things like this bother me. Cheers, Greg |

I cut mine to within 1/16" on the bandsaw, then rout with template. Ron |
